Islay of Skye is a popular destination for hikers and mountaineers. The Skye Trail is a 5-7 day, absolutely magnificent tour through the Scottish Highlands. The route follows the Trotternish Ridge, past the Quiraing and the coastal cliffs on the Islay of Skye. A medium, beautiful, scenic and mostly foggy hike awaits you in Islay of Skye. I thought the tour was marvellous. Chapeau!

Simply the most beautiful hill walk I’ve done in the UK. Starting from the town of Aberfeldy, you follow the stream through the birch trees up to the top of the waterfall and back down the other side.

Isolated by massive basalt cliffs, the Rubha Hunish peninsula seems to be out of reach for hikers. Fortunately, there is a passage in the rock face, which makes it possible to reach this fantastic place on a narrow and steep path.

Beautiful walk felt much longer in the rare heat of sunshine but plenty of swim options to cool off. Lovely alternative to a mountain for a hot day

Glen Doll/Moulie Circular Route by Russell

Excellent circuit through two beautiful glens and some high moorland. Note that recent storm damage near the visitors centre has resulted in closure of a short section of footpath, but easily avoided using the signposted diversion.
