Mostly dirt road with a few slim spots along the trail. Very pretty fields and forested areas along this short route. The alternative road towards the end (very close to the end) had deep ruts and tight turns in it that caused my Freelander 2 with 31” KO2 tires to bottom out pretty good but not enough to high center me.

Pretty easy route. Good for ADV and big bikes. Some Sandy sections. Can be tricky in summer and some muddy sections can get boggy in winter. Watch out for puddles. Also takes in a petrol station and lunch stop spot at Tesco.

There's a short stretch near Merton on this route that would be illegal to drive or ride a motorbike on. It's a restricted byway.
To bypass it you'll need to ride through Watton.
