The route begins to the left of the small scree field and then curves slightly to the right over the ice field up towards the sun. A little to the right of this you come to the west ridge.

The north face classic in the Stubai Alps, which can easily be done as a day tour thanks to the cable car support. Due to the glaciation, the tour is more recommended in spring with touring skis, whereby the bare ice passages are then reduced to one rope length and the rest is trudged in the snow.
