Superb walk. However I would recommend going the other way round as then the coast part is at the end and one has wonderful views of Boscastle / Tintagel.

This was a nice quiet route to blow the cobwebs away, early on a Saturday. The day was shaping up to be hot but the hedgerows gave the shade needed in most areas.

An enjoyable walking route also. Easy on road parking in Avening. A nice energetic climb at the end. A good mix of open views and wooded areas.
